Colie’s Cafe

This used to be Camille’s and recently changed hands. Colie’s has 3 locations in the area. Has outdoor seating. Great place to grab a sandwich or coffee and sit and watch the passersby.

Dragonfly Tavern and Pizza Factory

Great outdoor seating. They opened the restaurant portion of their business this past summer. Perfect spot for watching the Pride Parade and to chill during Park Ave Fest. You enter the Tavern via the alley to the left of the building.

Jembetat Cafe

We wandered in the cafe about 5 hours after the owner opened his new cafe. We went to dinner down the street and were looking for a place to have some dessert and sit and talk. They now serve wine and beer too. There is usually jazz playing in the seating area and it’s a great place to chill out. It’s a cell phone free/wifi free cafe. Some people like that mantra; some don’t. Given that my husband and I spend all day online with our day jobs, we don’t mind it.

Sinbads Mediterranean Cuisine

For years, when we used to visit my husband’s family here before we moved to Rochester we would always get food from Sinbads. Now that we live here, we get to have it all the time! Our friends from the ‘burbs drive in to go to Sinbads. We love their kabobs, hummus and falafel.
