For years and years, my husband’s family would always bring us Stever’s candies when they’d visit us in DC. I marveled at the idea of a local homemade candy shop. I had no idea how marvelous this place was until I actually stepped foot in there after we moved here! Well, the first time I actually tried to step foot in there was a day before Easter and the line was out the door. The next time, I actually had room to breathe in and marvel at this place! Not only is everything delicious, but it’s beautiful. Stever’s candies are so beautiful that anyone on the receiving end of them will immediately squeal with delight. Seriously. And I’m not a squealer. Their vanilla marshmallows make me leap with joy.
