If you are interested in supporting local farms and benefiting from the yummy food grown right here in our own backyard, a CSA is a great way to do that. If you’d like to learn about all the great local food projects and determine which CSA might be a good fit for you, the Northeast Farming Association of NY is hosting a CSA Fair this Saturday at Village Gate
CSA Fair: Rochester, NY
Date: Saturday, March 26
Location: Rochester Village Gate, Physikos, 302 N. Goodman St., #E201
Time: 1:00-4:00 pm
I am a member of the Good Food Collective, a CSA with membership pick-up at the South Wedge Farmers’ Market as well as several work distribution sites. I love them so much that I recently started doing outreach for them. I am most familiar with them, but would be happy to answer any question about how this whole CSA thing works, how much food you get, etc.
